This report highlights the key achievements and activities implemented during the first quarter of the project. A major milestone during this period was the establishment of the “Gole Watch” platforms, including a dedicated website and social media channels on Twitter and Facebook. Unlike conventional news platforms, Gole Watch is designed to provide in-depth analysis and educational content aimed at improving public understanding of parliamentary work and encouraging informed citizen participation in public debate.
Despite the limited timeframe of the first quarter, the project successfully laid the foundation for its communication and engagement strategy. Additional activities included mapping civil society organizations (CSOs) working with parliament, engaging with the parliamentary secretary to present the project overview, and coordinating meetings with relevant CSOs. Overall, the quarter focused on building the core structures necessary to strengthen citizen engagement and amplify the work of the House of Representatives.
