On 20/06/2026, the House of Representatives approved, by a majority vote, the President’s proposal for the law on the National Disaster Preparedness and Food Reserve Authority (NADFOR). The House of Representatives also rejected the President’s proposal for the amendment and supplementation law concerning the management of electricity in Somaliland. One member of parliament supported it, while 59 voted against, and 2 abstained.
