On the 22nd of July, 2025, a dynamic panel discussion titled “Breaking Barriers: Women’s Strength in Parliamentary Politics in Somaliland” was held at Assod Hotel, Hargeisa, from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM. The event brought together experienced and emerging women leaders, activists, and community members to examine the ongoing challenges and progress of women’s political participation in Somaliland. Through open dialogue and powerful testimonies, the panel highlighted both barriers and opportunities facing women in parliamentary politics today.
