At the meeting of the House of Representatives, it was the 14th session, 4th sitting. In this sitting, the meeting was chaired by the Speaker of the House, Mr. Yasin Xiir Faratoon. Part of the session involved some of the members submitting a motion concerning the proposed amendments to the House of Representatives’ Standing Orders, House Order Act. 01/2021. The motion, which had been signed by 29 members, was brought before the house. At the time, 20 members were present. Some of the members withdrew their support for the motion. The Speaker stated that the motion had not received the required number, which was one-third (1/3) of the members; therefore, it could not proceed.
