This report presents the key discussions and outcomes of the one-day interactive forum on “The Role of Parliament in Strengthening Good Governance and Citizen Participation in Somaliland.” The forum brought together representatives from government institutions, civil society organizations, academia, scholars, and emerging leaders to explore the role of parliament in promoting accountability, transparency, and inclusive governance. Through presentations and open dialogue, participants reflected on parliamentary functions, identified existing challenges, and proposed practical recommendations to strengthen citizen engagement and democratic governance in Somaliland.
